hopeREVO goes to Rwanda
Jen and Odette are making hope happen in Rwanda! They've raised enough to cover the travel expenses, book publishing and other materials needed to spread hope while Jen's there.
Now that the resources are in place, there's a long laundry list of things to do. And that's where you and I come in, fellow hope revolutionaries! We're going to create hope notes to send with Jen to the girls of Rwanda. Here's how you can participate:
- Create or purchase a blank 3½" x 5½" card. (This is US index card size, a standard we're using to help keep things uniform for transporting and distributing the cards.)
- Choose one of the phrases in this text document for your card. Write the English version on one side, and the translated version on the other, in your own handwriting. We want each card to have the energy of the person who created it, and for the girls to feel like it came from a person who was thinking of them specifically when they wrote it.
- Add decoration, illustration, whatever your heart desires!
- Mail your card(s) [Address Removed]

this is such a fabulous idea! i am going to be going to uganda this summer (will be working with child-headed families and pregnant women with AIDS), and this has provided amazing inspiration for me!

hi krytyn, i've just emailed you about this but figured this may be a faster way to get in touch...
i want to participate, may 2nd is friday and i'm not sure if it will make it to GA from Toronto Canada by then. would it be faster to mail to jen directly?? can you let me know asap. thankx, Lil

Sorry for any confusion! May 2nd is the recommended date to SEND the cards. :)
I'm not going to ship until a few days before she leaves so we can gather as many as possible -- I'll just overnight to her.
